1.13 (Jun 14, 2016)
- New icon. Thought it’s time for a refresh. Do you like it?
- Custom sounds. You can now select your own folder of MP3s to play instead of Rest’s built-in sounds. Time to let Shakira announce your breaks! :)
- Custom images. Want to use custom exercise images, your own photographs or your wallpaper collection for the full-screen break notifications? Now you can.
- Time in menubar. A few of you asked to have the time shown in the menubar, to more easily tell how long till your break/work. Just find the checkbox in settings.
- Static menubar icon. For those of you annoyed by animated icons (though Rest’s is pretty subtle), you can now switch to a color-coded static icon.
- Smarter system notifications. When the full-screen notifications are enabled, the system ones are no longer fired for a less cluttered experience.
- Next break indicator. If you enable the Advance notifications feature, you will now be shown how long the upcoming break is.
- What's New window. In the future, Rest will show you a What's New window after an update, so you don’t miss the great new features being offered.
- More reliable crash reporting. Apart from the app being much more stable, I should be better able to understand crashes and fix them from now on, thanks to the Crashlytics integration.
